Cyndi and Joe Fulco, owners, live here in Plainfield with their kids and wanted to bring the good old fashioned, homemade with love food to plainfield. It took some getting use to, but they feel the love back here in Plainfield and are so blessed to be a part of this great community!
We’re independently owned, so we have control over what we serve our guests, that is why we choose to only serve the freshest ingriedients. Joe goes to the market every Thursday and hand picks our produce for both locations. We choose only the finest meats, cheeses and toppings. Based on traditions, we offer the same fresh, delicious, homemmade entrées.
You never know what Nana or Papa are cooking up in the kitchen on any given day, so we always have our daily specials plus surprises during the week, and with Joe Fulco cooking up specilaties on Monday and Tuesday nights, it’s always a delicious place to stop in!
Things take a little longer to cook but the wait is worth it! Everything is made fresh, even the French fries, which are cut and double cooked each morning. We serve hot dogs, Polish, salads, soups, pizzas, calzones, pastas & sandwiches.
Every day we have a daily special, plus all-you-can-eat pasta, every night, no coupon needed. Cyndi says if you can finish a regular serving of our homemade spaghetti, mostaccoli or rigatoni marinara and still find yourself hungry, we will gladly serve you more! (Dine-in only, no sharing or doggy bags). Check our Facebook page for daily specials and FB-only specials at www.facebook.com/rosalsplainfield.
We take care of our community by offering a teachers’ discount, every day all day, with free delivery on orders over $15. Achievment cards are available for teachers to give to their students as incentives and a coaches card, which gives our coaches 10 percent off with their family or team, along with police and fireman discounts, Win Win nights for schools and groups and discounts for funeral lunches.
Taylor Street Night is a hit. Most Monday and Tuesday nights we sell out of our specials. Joe Fulco cooks up specials from 5 p.m. on. With our BYOB license it is a great combination of awesome food and great wine! We serve up things like chicken marsala, fried Sicilian spaghetti, scallops with roasted red pepper, chicken picatta and more.
We have been catering for over 20 years and we know how to make your event less stressful. Our catering menu features many staple items like fried chicken, mostaccoli and Italian beef, but we also offer some of our specialty items like gnocchi vodka cream, agnolotti with roasted red pepper sauce and stuffed mushrooms
We can put together the PERFECT package for all your gatherings
With Nana and Papa in the kitchen everyday, along with our awesome crew, you know you’re gonna love what we do!
The first restaurant in town to have a BYOB option. Patrons of Rosal’s will now be able to bring a bottle of their favorite wine to enjoy during lunch or dinner.

Finnegan’s Irish Pub
24102 W. Lockport St.
Plainfield, IL
815-733-5177

Finnegan’s Irish Pub is located at 24102 W. Lockport St. in historic downtown Plainfield. The restaurant offers a perfect blend of class and comfort with a traditional Victorian Irish décor. Not only does Finnegan’s offer a full Irish/American menu, but they are also known for having the most extensive American handcrafted beer menu in the suburbs. With 33 draft selections and over 190 bottles, they often feature beers that are difficult to even find in liquor stores. Being one of the few locations that can show a person that beer can be as complex as wine, Finnegans’ ever-expanding list is greatly complimented by daily salad and dinner specials designed by head chef David Donohue. If that weren’t enough, monthly events of varying price range feature conservative portions of artisanal food of the chef’s design that allow guests to try multiple pairings of craft beer and fine food. This offers guests that are new to the craft beer scene a unique opportunity to test out some of the many flavors and styles available to them. With the helpful staff being certified by Cicerone as knowledgeable beer servers, guest can free themselves from the anxieties of trying something new by knowing that they are in good hands. Engaging hand-picked live music fills the air on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and Finnegan’s is also the go-to place for any big games and UFC fights. Looking for something exclusive? The upper-floor features a private room known as the Library and a main room available for banquets and private parties. The Library is complete with fine woodwork, a fireplace and a 55 inch LCD TV built into the wall perfect for business meetings and small parties alike.

Moe Joe’s
510 Lockport St.
Plainfield, IL
815-230-2785

Walking up to Moe Joe’s is like stepping out onto New Orleans’ Bourbon Street, complete with wrought iron, street lanterns and false building fronts with balconies. The exterior of the building looks as authentic as the food inside.
When you enter the building, you’re overcome with music, decor and a feeling that puts you in the Mardi Gras mood. There is also a lower level, dubbed “The French Quarter Subterranean Speakeasy,” which is everything it claims to be. This nighttime hotspot has all the makings of a French Quarter speakeasy, including a horseshoe bar, lantern lights and a fireplace.
Owner Stu Littell opened the Moe Joe’s in December 2004 and has has been able to extend his restaurant out front in the warmer months with an outdoor patio, where patrons can eat or grab an ice-cold beverage in the heat.
The cuisine consists of two major styles. A portion of the menu is of Caribbean influence, like Jamaican jerk chicken served with mango relish. Moe Joe’s, however, prides itself in offering the most authentic Cajun cuisine. Jambalaya, crawfish etouffee, gumbo and whole-boiled New Orleans-style crawfish are just a few of their signature dishes.
Moe Joe’s also offers many classic Southern dishes, such as homemade fried chicken, catfish, and a center cut New York strip steak that is marinated in Coca-Cola and topped with a bourbon sauce. Or you can stop in for a quick lunch.
Littell’s also proud of the many beers he has on tap from micro breweries, and there are also seasonal beers from local breweries, domestic beers and imports.
Moe Joe’s staff puts energy into keeping the customer happy. The restaurant host theme parties, holiday celebrations and, more importantly, charity events.
